No training material or tools will help you learn any software unless you get your hands dirty and get into the field. Practice, Practice and Practice – that is the only way to learn anything, especially REVIT!

      2. Regarding creating exact sizes of the tile hatch, you need to use “Model” Filled patterns and you can create a new fill pattern of the size of tiles you need. Try going to Manage->Additional Settings -> Fill Patterns -> Create a new pattern with Crosshatch and give exact values of the tile size.

  12. this is very useful…fantastic explanations…highly appreciate if you could do a complete two storey house from foundation level to roof construction with council drawing./printout and also how to calculate the cost of the construction…hope this will fullfil the total understanding and the value of learning revit by any beginner like me…tks …thank you so much Bansari…i am palitha

    I am starting to take beginner courses for Revit. First of all, thanks for providing free content. I’ve only used AutoCAD and Sketchup during college.
