Modeling Truss

Truss in Revit is a loadable family that consists of sub elements such as top chord, bottom chord and web members. The family is a 2D profile assembly made from these elements. When you load the family into the project, you can assign which structural framing member(beam family) to use for each of these sub elements in the type properties of the truss. Each member can individually be selected and edited as well.

  1. I like how you mentioned that implementing structural framing could help with the best flooring approach. My brother informed me yesterday that he was planning to have prefabricated floor trusses in their home because of their strength and flexibility function. He asked if I had thoughts on the best flooring guide. I love this helpful trusses guide article for the best planning approach. I’ll remind him that consulting a trusted prefabricated floor trusses service can help him with his wood concerns. https://www.precisiontrusshawaii.com/products-services
